Couples counseling/psychotherapy info:
Couples counseling/psychotherapy sessions include two people: husbands, wives, friends, boy/girlfriends, etc. If the two people are related (i.e.: parent and child, brother and sister, grandmother and nephew, etc), then these couplings are considered family sessions.
Family counseling/psychotherapy info:
Family counseling/psychotherapy sessions usually include parent(s)/guardian, children, and sometimes extended family members.
